I'd like to see how easy is to get in and out of this design!!!

As for the flexing, I agree!!! This way looks a lot more rigid!!! Well done!!!!!! :-)

Yes there is enough room to have it installed on the bottom.

And yes it it is a bit more difficult to get in it.

Is 30 counts/s a bad thing.I dont really notice anything different.

Hello mario,

there cannot be a output loss, you can check this with a loopback cable to another comport and a hyperterminal which shows the output.
After 3 minutes you must see your packet counts on the receiving comport as they will be sended after hours.
The problem might be the pause after a AMC packet. The AMC need some time to work out the new position.
You might try to add one or up to five carrage returns after the parser string ( ~13~ ).
Also the USB comports must be set correct in the advanced setup of your windows device manager (1ms sending delay, printer mode, newest driver from pretec or FTDI).
