x-simulator.de is a international speaking DIY motion simulator builders community. It´s started as support and building forum for the motion-control software X-SIM. X-Sim is the short synonym for Cross Simulator software. The main capabilities are controling selfmade or commercial motion simulators from 2DOF up to 6DOF systems. X-Sim supports a lot of games and simulation software out of the box. Also it offers functionalities to work together with prospective software. So even in future, X-Sim will be compatible with next generation software.

X-Sim offers a open plugin system for programmers to write their own motion simulation software or to create plugins for e.g. washout effects, and algorithms. It supports components to extract nearly every value from a game you need. Speed, Gear, X, Z, Y coordinates are only some few examples.
The new X-SIM 2.1 system offers a fully international and worldwide community system to play with other people who use motion simulators for the more inversive experience.
