This is the second black and white X-Sim edition.
You will find two installers.
The black one for the X-Sim community edition and the white one for the X-Sim workshop (offline) edition.
The black edition 2.1.x.x is used for online games and simulator chat system.
On the other side there is the white edition X-Sim 2.0.x.x which do not need a online
connection and is therefore designed for workshops of simulator builders and profile developer.
The white edition is more faster and smaller in the memory but cannot organize online races.
If you have problems with your internet connection you can also use the WEB chat system of
http://www.x-simulator.de which will show you the current chat system of the black edition.
This version is a experimental beta version which is able to close the hole between the
force-sender and the force-profiler. It can autostart the local profiler with a click in
the tray menu and offers a non network local memory inter process communication between the
sender and the profiler which will totally eleminate network drops and timeouts.
It is designed to run local gauge systems and wheel controls while sending the simulator
ingame movement to another control PC.
Of course this version offers also many bugfixes which are reported in the forum.
Most of the crashes are found but the experimental addon is sure not bugfree.
So continue to write your problems / solutions / experience here in the forum.
Note:
This version is a release candidate, if there are no more errors reported within two weeks this will be fixed to a stable XSim 2 release.

Remember also the big step between 2.1.0.3 and 2.1.0.4 or higher:
The problem of the new version is the new plugin work over which will increase the output resolution.
All X-Sim versions below 2.1.0.4 have motion profiles which multiply the acceleration value in G with 100 or 1000.
This was enough for the rock'n'ride but is not enough for a actuator like the SCN5 (10000 theoretical positions).
As example rFactor uses instead of the old 1 G x 100 now 1 G x 100000 which should be future save.
This will give the motion of a accureate actuator a new feeling.
So all rn2 profiles are obsolete with 2.1.0.4, so a beta version is needed for the profile creators to add some 000 or 00 to
their profile and publish them. The final release of 2.1.0.4 will use some additionally time so you can all use the time to
update the profiles. If the version 2.1.0.4 is in release state it will be marked in the online update process.
This version will not cause any update message.
For rFactor you need to copy the new xsimplugin.dll to the rFactor directory
Tip: Always save your whole x-sim folder to a temporary backup location before you do a upgrade!
