Do you see no input at all, even your regular soundcard is not listed, or only the USB soundstick?

You should see at least your regular soundcard. Maybe the plugin is broken. Which x-sim version you use?

i use the last version of x-sim
After your precious suggestion i have cleared and reinstalled x-sim
Things don't work but i have noticed that if i leave only the bass shaker plugin when i start the profiler
it dos'nt recognise no output.
If i try to open setting with the button (in the interface setting page) when the bass shaker plugin is marked notthing happens , the same if i try an hw rescan but if i uncheck the bass shaker plugin and i try to open setting with the button befor the automatic rescan i can see the pop up page of sound card setting and just for a while i can see all the sound card.
But after a second the profiler crash and i can't choose the right one
Is certanly something related about my low knowledge but i try that in another pc ( the first one is a quad core with win7 64 bit the second one is a quad core with xp pro 64 bit) and is the same.

I can only assume that there are some incompatibilities with your USB Soundstick.

Either the plugin does not support external usb sound sticks at all, or only your specific stick make problems.

I ´ll check that today in the evening as i own a usb soundstick also.

Does anyone already tried it with USB sound?

Nima,

Thanks for posting this. A lot of work goes into making these profiles!

Maybe due to differences in car and real world hardware the profile didn't bring out the curbs as I'd like. From iracing, what telemetry data was used to create vibration over curbs? I was playing around with z force but want to make sure that is it.

Thanks again,

John

OK...I just ran across the "how to mak profiles" thread. Looks like people are using a combination of inputs to create effects like vibration over curbs. Too bad the sim doesn't push that data out as I think it is a strethc to try and mimic it from Z force, Z pos and roll.

I see that when load v3 of profile lines 11 and 17 for Bass Shaker Frequency come up
as 'error'. Also, in input screen RX, RY, and RZ are populated but not X, Y and Z. Could explain why I am not getting any effect over bumps and rumble strips? The effect working seems to be one based on RPM.

I have just tried Nima's Profile for the Buttkicker and I have some problems.

The BassShaker appears to be doing all that is intended however my motion profiles seemed to be effected somewhat. My motion seems slowed down and unresponsive like it is suffering serious lag? Im getting no gear change response or effects when I drive off tracks?? Its as though the actuators are in slow motion and only outputing 20% of there normal duties.

Its as though the BassShaker Profile is dominating my motion profiles, for example, I can feel my actuators performing tiny movements like they are mimicking my Buttkicker when the car is idle.

I went into the Interface settings and dissabled the BassShaker, removed all of its content. Ive even deleted the profile from my profiles folder and the motion is the same?

Any ideas whats happened?

Hello everybody,

There seem a lot of questions concerning the use of a bass shaker in Xsim. Frank from ricmotech (where I bought plans to build a racing-rig) was so kind to give some information that is included in the pdf below. Take a look and hopefully it is helpfull.

For any who is interested in the plans you can find them here:

Greetings,
Bart
