This seat mover is designed to run from 12volts ( a car battery is good with a charger or power supply in parallel) and uses x-sim software, from
http://www.x-sim.de , you will need to register, as the software is free.
The software currently supports the following games,

Codemasters F1 2010 and 2011
* RFactor
* ARCA
* Live for Speed
* GTR
* GTR 2
* Race
* Race 07
* GT Legends
* GTR Evolution
* Nascar Racing 2003
* Nascar Racing 2005
* Collin McRay Dirt
* Dirt 2 and 3
* Racedriver Grid
* Racer (Freeware)
* Grandprix 3+4
* IRacing
* Cruden Racer

More games will be added by the program developers in time.

The seat mover uses 2 x Pololu JRK 12v12 control boards , 2 x high out put 12 volt motors, it has a single turn potentiometer on each motor setup as feedback.
The frame is of new 25x25x1.6mm steel that is welded and bolted together. The new MDF sheet is for the mounting of the motors and the pivot point of the seat.
The seat is second hand, but in good condition and will suit a driver up to 95kg. A bigger seat would be needed if a larger driver is using the simulator as the seat supplied is a SNUG fit.
The control boards and motors have had about 3 hours use only on them.

You will need a decent gaming PC with a quad core cpu, fairly high end graphics card , at least 8 gig ram, and WIndows7 and at least 3 USB 2.0 ports available.
Also you will need a decent force feedback wheel and pedals, a Logitech Driving Force GT is a good start.
The boards are easy to set up in the JRK utility program and the x-sim software.
The prospective buyer will be trained up to operate the simulator and software, but you need to be a bit computer savvy.

The MDF wheel and pedal frame is free and you can have it, or even fit the simulator to an existing static racing frame. Just give the simulator a paint to the colour you like.

Any inquires can be forwarded to me via email at ziltoid@optusnet.com.au
Sydney metro and outer areas only.
Test rides for potential buyers by appointment only.

The design is easy to provide, I am just selling what I have. I can make another easy enough. If someone wants the plans I can draw them up. :thbup:
