DIY racing motion-simulator with SCN5s and XSim2
Published on X-Sim: 24/05/2009.
First footage of my SCN5 e-actuators based 2DOF motion simulator. It is controlled via XSim2 software.
I have made this video to show how well syncronised the actuators are moving with the ingame vehicle movements.
The profile consists of lateral, longitudinal and vertical effects (g-forces and bumps/road surface)
Too bad that my cam is not able to record the very small movements due to low fps.
In case you want to know how to DIY one by yourself, then join the X-Sim community at www.x-simulator.de/forum
Credits: Sirnoname (XSim developer) and the whole XSim commuity for their support
Game: GTR Evolution
Track: Nordschleife, Germany (at least the first section/half of it)
Car: BMW E90 GTR
